In Memory of Joyce Fredricks

The Harbor City community is mourning the loss of Joyce Fredricks, a founding member of the Harbor City Neighborhood Council and a dedicated board member for 15 years. Last Wednesday, the Harbor City Neighborhood Council adjourned the board meeting in Joyce’s honor and last Friday, Council District 15 Councilmember Tim McOsker adjourned the Los Angeles City Council meeting in Joyce’s honor and both recognized her many years of service and dedication to the Harbor City community. Her legacy of advocacy, community service, and commitment to Harbor City will continue to live on. We extend our deepest condolences to Joyce’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
